The annual Alpine Shire Youth Awards recognise and celebrate the contributions, skills and achievements of a diverse range of young people aged 12 – 21 years.
The Alpine Shire Youth Awards celebrate the diverse and wonderful achievements of local young people.
Each year we receive nominations from community members, schools, organisations and peers that leave our judging panel amazed at the persistence, talent and skills of our young people.
Nominations are received for young people aged 12-21 in the following categories:
- Academic
- Community
- Endurance & Persistence
- Performing Arts
- Proud & Deadly
- Rural
- Sports & Recreation
- Visual Arts and Media
- Workplace
Nominations for the 2024 Awards are now open and will close at 11:59pm on Monday the 5th of August 2024.
Nominations can be submitted via the online form below, or a PDF form can be requested by contacting us. You can find the formal nomination guidelines via the document library on this page.
All nominations will be kept confidential and will only be available to the panel until awards night. Child safe policies will be followed, panel members will not be able to see private information for any nominee.
The judging panel's decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entertained regarding the decision.
