Project Funding

This project is made possible through a generous $91,000 donation from Bright Rotary, enabling Council to purchase the equipment.

Council has also committed $80,000 in the 2025/26 Budget to support the installation, including design and construction of the required foundations, landscaping and soft fall materials.

Location

Working in close collaboration with Rotary, the chosen location for the outdoor fitness equpiment is behind the Bright Community Centre, adjacent to Railway Avenue.

This site was selected as it offers:

  • High visibility and foot traffic, helping maximise community use
  • The right aspect and shading in summer and winter
  • Convenient and level access to accessible parking
  • Proximity to public toilet facilities, rail trail and Bright Community Centre

Fitness Equipment

The equipment will be supplied by Kompan Pty Ltd, a leading provider of outdoor fitness and play solutions.

A key feature of this installation is the adjustable weight‑resistance system, offering a workout experience similar to traditional indoor gym equipment. This makes the outdoor fitness equipment suitable for a wide range of fitness levels and abilities.
