FY25 Agribusiness Photography Initiative 
For a co-contribution of just $50 your business have the opportunity to participate in the FY25 Agribusiness Photography Initiative that is being subsidised by the Alpine Shire and values at over $500

Marketing is a highly effective way for businesses to engage with their target audience and build brand recognition. The Alpine Shire are offering limited spaces for local agribusinesses to participate in a photography session to update their image library for marketing and communications purposes. Images will be captured on location in either December 2024 or March 2025 (depending on produce seasonality). 

What will be included?
  • Approximately 1 hr of photography on site at each business. 
  • Package of digital images. 
What are the eligibility requirements?
  • Businesses must be residents or ratepayers of the Alpine Shire to participate in this initiative.
  • Businesses must fall under one of the following Sectors: Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing, Manufacturing (i.e., beer, bakery manufacturing), Retail Trade (i.e., meat retailing).
Please note that spots are limited for this initiative and businesses will be selected to participate based on a first-in, first-served basis.

Register your interest by emailing economicdevelopment@alpineshire.vic.gov.au by 5pm on the 13th of November 2024.

Confidential sessions are 45-minutes, free of charge and bookings are essential. Grant funding opportunities
Future Drought Fund - Resilient Landscapes Program
This program aims to demonstrate how the implementation and scaling of practices and technologies that manage natural resources on farms can build drought and climate resilience through improving ecosystem condition and function. Eligible activities include identifying environmental, social ,and economic tipping points to improve management of natural capital and provide learnings to farmers and landholders. 

Applications opened on 24 September 2024 and close on 19 November 2024.

 
Export Market Development Grants (EMDG)
This program aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises to explore the product export market, or for existing exporters to expand their activities. Grant funding will be available under 3 tiers: Tier 1 - Ready to export, Tier 2 - Exporting within existing markets and Tier 3 - Exporting to new markets. Each Tier has a different number of grants available, at different values. 

Applications open on 12 November 2024 and close once funding is fully allocated.

The Pay Equality Toolkit
Equal pay matters for all Victorian workers. Progress toward an equitable workplace creates benefits for employees and business performance. Generally speaking, contributing to a more satisfied and productive workforce. The Pay Equality Toolkit is comprised of 8 different tools created to help business make progress on pay equality.

Changes to the Fair Work Act
There are new workplace laws as part of the Closing Loopholes Act 2023 which will take effect at different times from December 2023 to 2025. Some of the changes include changes to the definition of casual employees and functions relating to the right to disconnect.

Business support services
NewAccess for Small Business Owners
Beyond Blue have developed this program to give small business owners free and confidential mental health coaching. 

Delivered over 6 sessions, a NewAccess coach will work with business owners to provide support and practical skills to manage stress during difficult times.
