Reduce business risk though fixed internet

5 February 2026

Alpine Shire mobile communications become overloaded and unreliable during times of peak visitor numbers and during emergencies. This can put your business at risk if you can't take EFPOS payments, access booking platforms, communicate with customers or access accounting systems.

Fixed internet is the only solution to reducing these risks.

nbn have undertaken significant investment in our region and fast internet is available at many locations. nbn are visiting our area and are able to help you understand what options are available to you. If you are currently using expensive Starlink options you may find that there are cheaper alternatives.
