Event organisers are encouraged to apply for up to $10,000 worth of funding to hold events in Dinner Plain through Round 2 of the Dinner Plain Events Funding Program.

Dinner Plain is a unique alpine village 1,500 meters in altitude that offers locals and visitors alike the best of the summer and winter experience.

With stunning mountain vistas and an architecturally-designed village, this distinctive native environment is a prime location to entertain, educate, and inspire.

The funding program promotes localised community events that focus on connectivity, as well as large-scale tourism events that deliver significant outcomes with intrastate or interstate visitation.

Event organisers are encouraged to apply for this opportunity by visiting https://alpineshire.smartygrants.com.au/DPRound224-25

Applications close at 12 midnight on Sunday, 24 November 2024.

All events must be held between 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.

Alpine Shire Council event funding is aligned with the Alpine Shire Events Strategy 2021. The Strategy identifies the needs and priorities of the community and provides a clear and realistic framework for Council to guide the future delivery of events.
