Welcome! Our libraries are a vital service in Alpine Shire, and offer welcoming and inclusive spaces for our visitors and community members.

Programs and services include Rhyme Time and Story Time, reader advisory, access to printing, photocopying and scanning, computers and internet, and meeting and study rooms.

Our libraries also provide a space for local clubs and groups to meet, share their hobbies, and make social connections through special interest groups.

We also offer school holiday craft and activities, guest speakers, author talks, and more.

Library membership also enables access to online e-resources and a variety of platforms for borrowing movies, accessing magazines and news, and e-audio and e-books.

  • We're a Share the Dignity Collection Point

Alpine Libraries are proud to support Share the Dignity and their mission to end period poverty.

Throughout March, our libraries will be accepting donations of new, sealed period products to help ensure that everyone in our community has access to the essentials they deserve.

If you’re able, please consider dropping off:

    • Pads

    • Tampons

    • Period underwear

    • Menstrual cups

    • Incontinence aids

Every donation makes a real difference.

Thank you for helping us support dignity for all.
