Alpine Shire Youth is deeply committed to empowering young people of the Alpine Shire region through three key funding streams.

Alpine Shire Youth is dedicated to fostering the potential of young individuals and creating a positive influence on both their lives and the wider community.

FReeZA is a shining example of youth participation, where young people take the lead, and are supported in planning, developing, and executing music, cultural, and recreational events. These events are free from drugs, alcohol, vaping, and smoking, ensuring they cater to the diverse interests and needs of local young people. FReeZA supports local talent and provides emerging artists with valuable opportunities to showcase their skills.

The Lighthouse in Bright was established in 2024. This space is a pop-up youth hub that provides a safe, supportive space for young people in the Alpine Shire. It offers access to mental health resources, skill-building workshops, and community activities, while promoting youth involvement in shaping programs. By creating connection, resilience, and early intervention, the Lighthouse empowers local youth and enhances their well-being and sense of belonging.
