We are creating a profile for every community in the Alpine Shire to help us before, during, and after emergencies.

When it comes to emergencies, it is integral that we understand as much as we can about every community in the Alpine Shire and we know that the best way to get this information is from the locals who live there - those who know their communities better than anyone else.

Each profile will identify existing communication channels, gathering places, and groups that already work to support their communities. They will also identify vulnerabilities within each community, their consequences, protective factors, and gaps or weaknesses that need to be considered.

You will find that some profiles are more complete than others. We ask you to help us ensure that each profile is a robust overview of the community so that we are best placed to help everyone when it comes to emergencies.
