Get started with Trove!

16 November 2023

If you are yet to discover Trove, it is an actual treasure 'trove' where you can explore all things Australian!

Run from the National Library of Australia, it is the gateway to more than 14 billion digital items on any topic, including books, newspaper articles, photos, diaries, maps and more.

As part of the Digital Literacy for Seniors program, Council is holding a series of FREE public talks called ‘Get Started with Trove’. In this talk we will be introducing attendees to this fantastic website so you can discover, learn and build confidence using Trove.

We will be holding talks at:

Mount Beauty Library | Thursday, 23 November at 10.30am | Ph: (03) 5754 4305

Myrtleford Library | Tuesday, 28 November at 2pm | (03) 5751 1591

Bright Library | Thursday, 30 November at 10.30am | (03) 5755 1540

For extra help getting setup with Trove, we will also have a number of 20 minute one-on-one sessions with the presenter on the same day as the talk. These require basic computer skills and a personal email.

We have limited spaces available for both the talk and one-one-one sessions, so bookings are essential by calling the numbers for each library above.

In the meantime, you can visit Trove here: https://trove.nla.gov.au/
