The Youth MHFA course complements the Teen MHFA program, which will be rolled out to all Year 8 and 10 students across the four high schools in Alpine Shire during Term 2.

Teen Mental Health First Aid is designed to be presented to a class of students over three face-to-face sessions, training every year 8 and year 10 student in all four high schools. The Mental Health Coach has prepared a unique course from the evidence-based research of MHFA to equip our students with the information, skills and action plans to navigate their own mental health challenges, support their peers, and seek out help from a trusted adult at the right time.
